Carolyn Bennett’s is well known as a kaleidoscope designer. Few people realize that all through her career as a scope maker, a passion for photography has been a parallel path.
She sees details in the world. Images reveal a focus on color, shape and tight composition. Often complimented for her “Great Eye”, Carolyn sees the world in her own way looking for the interesting in what many would call the mundane. Box Lots is an ongoing project that she hopes will keep alive the objects that people discard by evoking the viewer’s memories from their own past.
